Len served on the UFV Board of Governors holding a variety of positions including Vice-Chair. He is a UFV alumni and former UFV sessional instructor. Len also served on the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s Board of Governors. He is a retired Chief Constable of the West Vancouver Police and former Deputy Chief Constable of the Abbotsford Police. He has for many years volunteered on the Board of Directors of two not for profit housing societies. Len has extensive governance experience in the public and not for profit sectors. He has a MA in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University and completed the Executive Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Len is a member of the Order of Merit of Police Forces, a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal, and the Police Exemplary Service medal.
