Sandy Blue is President of the Abbotsford Police Foundation. Ms. Blue’s career highlights include senior roles in Marketing, Sales & Operations at TELUS; Assistant Vice President Marketing, Sponsorship and Brand at HSBC; Business Development Manager at YXX; and Manager Strategic Economic Initiatives at the City of Maple Ridge. She then served two terms as city councilor at the City of Abbotsford, two years on the Fraser Valley Regional District board, and two years on Metro Vancouver board (Parks only). Today she operates the interior design consulting firm she and her husband formed in 1997.

Active in the community Ms. Blue has served on the Abbotsford Police Board; the Abbotsford Police Foundation; Burnaby RCMP Community Policing Committee of Council; Burnaby RCMP Victim Services; Urban Development Institute (UDI) Fraser Valley Committee; EcoFarm; Burnaby Summer Games, Coquitlam Summer Games, Abbotsford Summer Games; Canadian Women in Communications (Vice Chair); Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society; and Director Envision Financial Regional Council.

She holds a Diploma in Administrative Management from BCIT, an Ec. D from the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC), a Certificate and Diploma in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo, CEcD from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
